Patriot Broadband welcomes husband and wife team, Dillon and Amber Bomar, to its family of franchisees. The partners are eager to provide faster, more reliable, secure, and affordable internet options to underserved pockets of rural Texas.

Dillon is an IT professional with more than 15 years of industry experience. He has worked in education and commercial IT. Amber is an expert logistics and supply chain manager with over 10 years of industry experience. The couple met in Germany while serving in the US Army and married a year later. As newlyweds, they spent the first 16 months of their marriage apart as Amber was stationed in Oklahoma and Dillon in Maryland. It was clear they had everything it takes to be a successful team capable of overcoming difficult obstacles.

The leadership team at Patriot Broadband looked favorably on their shared candidacy. Dillon demonstrated an aptitude for signal systems support, network administration, wireless communications, and cloud engineering. Amber proved to be an astute management professional and operations leader. These skills gave them the confidence to pursue building their very own internet service provider with the help of the Patriot Broadband team. Dillon recalls that the partnership came together very serendipitously.

“It’s funny, I came across the franchise offering when looking through my emails one evening,” remarks Bomar, “It has always been a goal of mine to start my own business and this seemed like a great way to

marry my skill set with a big need in the market. My initial feelings were substantiated by the leadership team.”
